Optimal Posture equals Optimal Health
Without good posture, our spine will be out of balance which will put unhealthy pressure upon the nervous system. This is known as subluxation.

Subluxation can result from various activities as subtle as sleeping, standing or walking to more obvious trauma like auto injuries, sports injuries and even the birth process itself.

The long term effects of poor posture can affect bodily functions such as digestion, breathing, muscles, joints and ligaments. A person who has poor posture may often be tired or unable to move efficiently.

Optimal health is a family affair
Early detection and removal of subluxation will ensure a healthy nervous system and will improve the quality of your life. Use the following instructions to observe and record the posture condition of each member of your family.

> Instructions:

Participant stands with feet shoulder width apart and toes parallel then closes eyes and nods head back and forth twice bringing head back middle. Keep eyes closed for ten seconds while observer checks shoulder and hip level.

Observer stands facing the participant, and lightly places index fingers on top of participant's shoulders and hips, then noting which shoulder and hip is higher.

Important:

If one of these test areas is positive, there is a high likelihood that subluxation may exist but can only be confirmed with proper chiropractic exam and X-ray.
